School 4 Shows Support for Autism
Career Day at School 4
Welcome to Winslow Township Elementary School #4
Last June we were awarded a Lowes Toolbox For Education Grant. We were given the grant to fund the Greenhouse, Gardens, and Grade-Schoolers Project. With the generous help of the Lowes on Cross Keys Road and Tom Barnes of Boy Scout Troop 106, we were able to complete the project within one year. Tom constructed the base and the greenhouse for his Eagle Scout Project. With the help of his troop mates, he was able to complete the construction in two weekends. In September of 2013, we will put our first seeds in the dirt and will hopefully be harvesting by October or November. The wonderful women who cook and serve our meals are going to put the "homegrown" veggies right into our students' lunches. Once again, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped and will help in our Greenhouse, Gardens, and Grade-Schoolers Project.
School 4 Is Rich In Vocabulary
In February, Queen Nur came to Winslow Township Elementary School #4. She performed some traditional folktales for the students. There was music, singing, and dancing.
Everyone had a great time.
