2019-2020 Citizens Advisory Committee Search

2019-2020 Citizens Advisory Committee Search The Winslow Township Board of Education is seeking members for its Citizens Advisory Committee. If you are a Winslow Township resident, 18 years or older, interested in serving on this Committee, please print and complete the bottom portion of the flyer, by no later than May 31, 2019, and return to the Board of Education Office.
2019 Heart Hero Assembly
Our school reached our goal of $3,500! We celebrated by having Mrs. Clement and Mr. Wyckoff "sample" healthy and not-so-healthy foods! Congratulations to our top fundraisers!
School #4 Visits Rowan College at Gloucester County
First through third grade students visited the RCGC campus on Monday, April 15th.
Artist and illustrator E.B. Lewis visits School #4
The award winning illustrator and artist, E.B. Lewis has illustrated several books for children, including Kate DiCamillo's "Because of Winn Dixie", Jacqueline Woodson's "Coming On Home Soon" and "Each Kindness" and Natasha Tarpley's "I Love My Hair" among many others. Mr. Lewis came to speak to the students, demonstrate his love of art and even signed copies of his work! Check out the pictures of his visit.
School #4 celebrates Read Across America Week!
Students and staff celebrated the works of Dr. Seuss and their love for reading through themed days.
Thank You V.F.W. Post 303!
Back in October, we had a visit from the Veterans at V.F.W. Post 303. During their visit, they presented Mrs. Rhinehart with a donation of art supplies. The students at School 4 created an American Flag using their fingerprints to thank the Veterans for their donation to our school.

School #4 attends the Reading & Writing Project Saturday Reunion
Mrs. Clement and several teachers from School #4 attended literacy workshops again this year at the Reading & Writing Project 95th Saturday Reunion at the Teachers College held at Columbia University. The keynote speaker was Kate DiCamillo, author of award-winning books such as Because of Winn Dixie and The Tale of Despereaux.
Art Supply Donation
On October 10, 2018 members of the VFW Post 303 and Barry Wright, our Mayor, visited School 4. During their visit, they presented Mrs. Rhinehart, our art teacher, and the students with a very generous donation of art supplies. The students are super excited to use all of the new supplies and are looking forward to see the completion of their projects.
